Availability: Short & Long Term Rentals

Due to new recent legislation surrounding licensing for Short Term Rentals, NRA applications are currently in progress, and rentals will be added to the website as they receive their NRA number. Bookings already confirmed are not affected.

The booking will be confirmed once a non-refundable booking deposit has been received. The remaining balance is required 8 weeks prior to the rental commencing. The security deposit less your electricity and water usage is refundable in whole/part, within 14 days of departure (less any breakages, losses, or damage).

If all monies due are not received in full and on time, then the booking will be treated as cancelled by you.  In such a case, all monies paid (excluding the security deposit) will be retained.

 

Check in/Check Out Procedures

Arrival after 4.00pm

Departure by 11.00am

If vacating outside of usual business hours, you may be required to return keys to a dropbox upon departure.

  1. Payment
    A booking deposit must be paid within 7 days of confirmation of your booking. This is non-returnable in the event of any cancellation. The balance becomes due 8 weeks before arrival. Hope Properties reserves the right to re-let the accommodation if this condition is not met. For any client booking within 8 weeks of their arrival date, payment must be made in full. The submission of the client’s deposit indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions, which form a part of the contract between the client and Hope Properties.
  2. Forms of Payment
    All payments prior to your arrival date should be paid into the account stated on the booking form unless otherwise arranged with Hope Properties. If you are paying from a UK Sterling account, you must pay into our GBP Wise account. If you are paying from a EUR Spanish account, please request our Spanish account details.
  3. What is included in the rental?
    Full use of community gardens and pool are included in the rental price.
  4. What is not included?
    The rental prices do not include the cost of water, electricity and gas, personal travel or cancellation insurance, airport transfers or departure cleaning and laundry. House towels are not to be used for outdoor use. Please bring your own pool towels.
  5. Insurance
    We strongly recommend that insurance is taken out against cancellation, and it is strongly recommended that personal accident and medical insurance is also taken out.
  6. Rental Period
    The rental period is from 4pm on the day of arrival, up to 11.00am on the day of departure. These times may be flexible subject to confirmation with Hope Properties.
  7. Occupancy
    The property is booked for normal holiday use only. The number of occupants must not exceed the maximum occupancy as stated, unless prior permission is given for a baby cot or similar. Pets/animals are not allowed except by prior consent of the owners.
  8. Keys and Directions to the property
    Details of key collection at the property address will be given on your booking confirmation email. You are responsible for the keys whilst they are in your possession and for their safe return to the company or to the local agent. Should you lose the keys it may be necessary, for security purposes, to replace the locks in the property and renew the keys accordingly. The client will be liable for all costs in this case. Handover and return of the keys will always be with the company via booked checkout, or at a local dropbox outside of our usual business hours. Directions of dropbox will be given on request.
  9. Conduct
    The renter is responsible for taking all reasonable care of the property and its contents. The renter shall ensure that no member of the party engages in any activity in or around the swimming pool which may cause damage or offence to the neighbours, pollution of the water or damage to the structure or filtration equipment. Disruptive behavior caused by loud music and/or late night/early morning rowdiness will not be tolerated. All members of the party must respect the community and house rules.
  10. Damage to the Rental Property and its contents
    Except in the case of normal wear and tear the renter will be responsible for making good any damage to the property or its contents which has occurred due to negligence, willful damage, or irresponsible behaviour on the part of those occupying the property or its guests. Such damage must be reported to Hope Properties immediately. The cost of the replacement or damage must be paid for by the guest to the owner via Hope Properties.
  11. General Maintenance
    The guests are responsible for informing Hope Properties immediately should any maintenance problem occur at the property. We may request access for a contractor to attend to any time sensitive maintenance matters.
  12. Damage/Security Deposit
    A security deposit will be paid by the guest within the balance payment. This amount will be held by Hope Properties and will cover any damage to the property or furnishings, lost keys and additional housekeeping after the guest has vacated. This will be refunded less your water and electricity usage within 14 days of departure.
  13. Power
    Properties in Spain are allotted a limited amount of electricity (3 – 6 kilowatts). Although seldom, the use of many appliances at the same time may flip a circuit breaker and shut off the electricity. This does not mean that there has been a power failure, only that a breaker in the house has been triggered and needs to be switched back on. The panel is often located inside the house. Please be careful to limit the simultaneous use of electrical appliances. Please also be aware that general power outages do occur. We are not liable if power is lost.
  14. Communal Pools

The use of the communal pools are available at no extra charge. If the communal pool is out of use for any duration of your stay, Hope Properties cannot be held responsible for any period of disruption due to repairs or maintenance.

  1. Accommodation Availability
    All accommodation offered is subject to availability at the time of booking. If for any reason the accommodation originally reserved is not available, Hope Properties undertakes to provide alternative accommodation. If no suitable accommodation can be offered, a full refund of the rental will be offered (restricted to the property rental costs). We are not liable for any cancellation or administration charges for travel arrangements, etc.
  2. Personal/Public Liability
    Whilst Hope Properties takes every care in selecting all relevant parts of your holiday, the company cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage howsoever caused.
  3. Cancellation
    All cancellations of bookings must be in writing by email to Hope Properties. If cancellation is more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, the deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation is less than 8 weeks before departure, the following payment refunds apply.

6 – 8 weeks before arrival date – 50% of total payment returned (deposit non-refundable)
4 – 6 weeks before arrival date – 25% of total payment returned (deposit non-refundable)
0 – 4 weeks before arrival date – NO REFUND.

PLEASE NOTE IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION ANY MONIES PAID AS A DAMAGE DEPOSIT AND PARTIAL DEPARTURE CLEANING WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL.
